Terms of Service Agreement
This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Cove & Coast Cleaning Co (referred to as "the Company") and the customer (referred to as "the Client") for residential cleaning services provided by the Company. This Agreement is applicable to all services provided by the Company within the Illawarra & South Coast, NSW.
Services Provided:
The Company agrees to provide professional residential cleaning services to the Client as per the agreed schedule and specifications. The scope of services will be determined and agreed upon prior to each cleaning appointment.
Cancellation Policy:
The Client must provide a minimum notice of 48 hours for any changes (incl. re-scheduling) or cancellations to their scheduled cleaning appointment. Any changes or cancellations made within this 48-hour notice period will result in a fee of up to 50% of the total service cost to cover business costs.
Client Responsibilities:
To ensure an efficient and effective cleaning process, the Client agrees to:
3.1. General Tidy: The Client shall perform a general tidy-up of surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom areas before each scheduled cleaning appointment. This includes clearing countertops, sinks, and tables of personal items, dishes, and clutter, unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the clean
3.2. Floor Preparation: The Client shall pick up any items or obstacles off the floor, such as toys, clothing, or other objects, to allow for efficient vacuuming and mopping. This ensures that the cleaning professionals can perform their duties safely and thoroughly.
3.3 Due to health and safety reasons, our staff are not allowed to move heavy furniture, step up on ladders higher than 2 steps and do not clean or touch pet fecal matter, human excrements, soiled diapers, vomit or medical syringes or containers containing medical equipment. Should The Client wish their cleaner to clean behind furniture, these must be moved prior to the booked clean.
3.4 Client Behaviour: The Client agrees to treat all employees of The Company with respect at all times. Bullying, dis-respectful comments or behaviour of any nature, will result in the cleaner leaving immediately. The Client will be liable for the full amount of the clean.
Payment and Pricing:
The Client agrees to pay the agreed-upon price for the services rendered by the Company Within 24 hours of completion. Payment may be made online via Stripe, by credit card, direct debit or any other mutually agreed-upon method. The Company reserves the right to adjust prices based on the scope of work, size of the property, and additional requested services. A late fee of $15 will apply PER DAY for any overdue invoices. Failure to pay invoices on time will result in future scheduled jobs to be cancelled immediately.
Liability:
The Company will take reasonable care while providing cleaning services but will not be held responsible for damage to items not properly secured, improperly installed fixtures, pre-existing damages, or any damage resulting from negligence or actions of the Client. The Company is insured and will handle any reported damages in accordance with its insurance policy.
Confidentiality:
The Company respects the privacy and confidentiality of its clients. All personal and contact information provided by the Client will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services.
Termination:
Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice. The Client agrees to provide a minimum notice of 48 hours for termination. In such cases, any outstanding payments for services rendered shall be due immediately.
Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of NSW, Australia.
By engaging in our services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
